Talk Story Tuesdays (June 2019)

Give yourself a treat! Meet, mingle and enjoy complimentary pupus and beverages at happy hour prices. At Talk Story Tuesdays we engage in great conversations on the topics of today that impact women and girls in Hawaii.

We’re celebrating the passage of Title IX! June’s Talk Story Tuesday is a special screening of the documentary Rise of the Wahine: Champions of Title IXScroll down to view the trailer.

Our co-sponsors for the event will be ACLU Hawaii, which is currently involved in the state Department of Education Title IX lawsuits with regards to facilities access for female high school athletes across the state. Rae Shih, a member of their legal team, will be our guest speaker at the event.

RSVPs will be limited to 30 guests, so please RSVP as soon as you can. (The RSVP form will be posted soon.)
